"Sailfish are truly my favorite fish to catch for my charters. They are the most acrobatic and energetic game fish that inhabit the offshore waters of South Florida and the South Florida area. We use many different tactics to catch Sailfish, but the most exciting tactic we use is Live Bait Kite fishing. When we kite fish we suspend live bait from a fishing kite, the live bait sit just inches under the surface of the water so they splash which creates sound waves that penetrate into the depths and ripples which magnify across the surface of the water which can be seen by Sailfish and other large pelagic species at deeper depths. These sound waves and ripples get Sailfish and other offshore pelagic species' attention. With the baits only inches under the surface of the water we can watch the Sailfish, Dolphin, Kingfish, Wahoo, Tuna or Sharks attack the bait, you witness some very impressive hits."
